Tea for Two, London Reflects.

The ever changing North Bank of the Thames is reflected in the windows of the Tate Modern member's cafe window - playing with the layers the light creates, the people in the cafe and bar above are ghostly, questioning what is real and what is a reflection. The feminine forms of the North bank – the boob of St Pauls and rounded architecture reflect in the windows of the Tate Modern, members café. Mary Magdelene in her rainbow coat sits with the Virgin Mary in her French ultramarine shawl – a cup of tea to put the world to rights. Only one male figure, facing out to the river, back to the viewer. Questioning what is real and what is reflected, inside, outside and reflected, a collected image that generates a narrative. POA

Oil on canvas 70x100cm, simple oak lime waxed frame.
